grew up in the Village of Minster in Ohio where I worked in various factories until my high school sweetheart convinced me to go to college. I bought a guitar on my 19th birthday, three months later I broke my hand and sliced the ligaments in my right index finger in a factory accident. I quit working after collecting workers compensation and concentrated on school focusing on African history, African-American politics, social inequality, and the transcendental American writers.
In 2004 my band dissolved as did the friendships within. Around the same time I got news that three friends committed suicide. I didn’t handle all this very well and fell into a two year period that I just call the dark days. Two years wasted.
When my Grandpa died on Valentine’s Day of 2006 I decided it was time to clean up. I moved back to my hometown. I coached football at my high school with my Dad (which meant a lot to me), babysat my Aunt’s three kids and lived a rather uneventful small town life. I picked up the pieces.
In 2009 my parents got divorced. I graduated college and moved into Milo Arts.
In 2010 I am comfortably employed and pursuing more education. Pleasantly comfortable working for a home.
